         Sanitary Protocols

The following is a list of cleanliness requirements practiced for each guest:

  • Sugar/Wax paste applied during a service is used only for that guest and we never double dip.

  • Biodegradable, nitrile gloves are required for handling sugar paste.

  • Both the used sugar paste and gloves are disposed of during that individual's service.

  • Tweezers, trimmers, scissors, sterilized in UV disinfectant.

  • Our treatment tables are sprayed down with a hospital grade disinfectant and covered with sanitized sheets between each appointment.

  • For every service, all linens - towels, wipes, and sheets - are washed in a bleach solution on high heat, to ensure they are completely clean.

We Offer a Combo of Sugar Waxing and Trimming Services

A body hair trimming service typically involves grooming and reducing body hair to a desired length or style.

Here’s what such a service include:

  1. Consultation: Discuss your preferences and desired outcome with a professional.

  2. Trimming: Use clippers or trimmers with adjustable guards to trim body hair on areas like the chest, back, arms, underarms, legs, and bikini area.

  3. Detailing: Focus on specific areas that require more precise grooming, such as around tattoos, scars, or natural body lines.

  4. Finishing Touches: Check for evenness and make any necessary adjustments.

  5. Aftercare: Apply soothing aftercare products to reduce irritation and maintain skin health.

This service ensures a neat, well-groomed appearance, tailored to individual preferences and comfort levels.

 Sugaring / Waxing

At Gentle Lux, we specialize in professional and gentle hair removal. We choose the method based on your preferences, skin sensitivity, and desired results:

Sugaring – A natural sugar paste that’s suitable even for the most sensitive skin. It leaves your skin smooth for weeks and slows down hair growth with regular treatments.

Waxing – A classic and quick way to achieve perfectly smooth skin. Suitable for various body areas and delivers long-lasting results.

Both methods are performed in a clean, comfortable environment with high hygiene standards. We prioritize your comfort and ensure each session is as smooth and effective as possible.

What should you do before your appointment?

Skin prep for sugaring let it grow your hair out to 1/4 inch long. This process usually takes about 10 to 14 days. If it’s longer than 1/2 inch, we might have to trim it before the appointment.
A few days before your appointment, lightly exfoliate the area to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs.
The day before your appointment, avoid exfoliation, tanning, or hot baths, as these might make your skin dry or sensitive.
The day of your appointment, come with clean, dry skin. Avoid wearing oils, lotions or creams.

Take 2 Advil pills 20 min before a session, to make it an ease. Ask about NUMBING CREAM.
